GLORIA'S PICK OF THE WEEK*

Dallas, Orlando, Baton Rouge, Minneapolis, Ferguson, Istanbul, Brussels, Paris and more; it’s clear the world must change the power paradigm from "power over" into "power to." That's the principle at the core of Take The Lead. YouTube CEO Susan Wojicki urges content creators to do use the "power to" in their voices for good in the wake of the violence and racial injustice we’ve seen recently in the U.S. and around the world. I was also moved by the soothing voice of my friend Rha Goddess sharing her #IStandWithLove message on her Facebook page and Beyonce’s muscular call to action over fear and frustration, including a link to make your voice heard by policy makers. Go, now, do, speak, act. Together we can be the change we want to see. Power "to" you.
